How to Reduce Screen Time
Excessive screen time is a massive issue for so many people. I'm not even going to get into why it's detrimental because I assume you already hear about it a lot and you see how it impacts your focus and mood.
So, what can you do about it? Below are some tips for you to try you. If you're not ready to make a complete change to how you use your phone, you could choose one of these tips and commit to it for the day.
- Add your phone's screen time widget to the home screen
- Add time limits on certain apps
- Curate your apps and delete the ones that are not serving you
- Curate your notifications and turn off the most distracting ones
- Eat your meals without screens
- Choose a room or space in your home where you do NOT take your phone (for example bedroom or bathroom)
- If you want to go hard, you can turn your phone into gray mode
